how can I enter download mode on LG Doubleplay (C729)?

None of the regular key combinations seem to work.

Are you trying to do a hard reset? if so:

1. With the phone powered off, press and hold F and A on the keyboard, as well as the Volume Down key, and with all of those held press and hold the Power button.

2. You should see the LG logo come up, and after about ten seconds release all buttons.

3. The device will go into ?unpacking? mode, and will automatically reset all phone data.

No, not really. I'm trying to enter download mode (not the same as recovery mode), because I need to reflash the stock ROM.
