How can I erase OS from my samsung tab2?

I have a Samsung tab 2 7.0 and my son download a virus, I tried hard reset and the virus loads again. Is there any way I can change OS from scratch?

There are guides all over the internet on how to flash a tab2 with odin. This will wipe all of the stuff on the tablet. Once you fix it, get an antivirus app (if you cannot afford a paid one, get the free version of AVG and you will be safe).
