How can i figure out if someone is spying on me through my att zte maven 3

I can send a text message to my phone from another phone and it won't get the first one but it will second
does this mean someone is spying on me?

Welcome to Android Central! I highly doubt it. It probably has more to do with the network or with the phone itself. Is there a reason someone might want to spy on you?
