How can I fix my LG MS395 phone?

It will not stay on. It shuts off within a minute of turning it on. I tried removing the battery for an hour, then retrying, I also shut the phone off with a restart. This just suddenly happened. I had my phone in my purse, then got it out to use it and there was no battery life. So I began charging it, and it was turning on and off while charging. I was able to charge the battery up to about 29% but it still keeps shuting off.
