How can i force my phone and Tablet to upgrade without rouuting.

Afternoon all. I currently own two android devices. One is an older Samsung Galaxy S4zoom which i don't want to let go of because of the quality of the camera. The other is my Galaxy Tab 3. which i really don't want to upgrade because there's nothing wrong with it. Now both are running kitkat4.4.2 and Samsung haven't pushed an android update our in years (well since 4.4.2 to be precise) is there any way of downloading marshmallow without rooting the devices and installing custom ROMs (as i really don't know much about this and if i don't have to go there I'd rather not. I've seen a lot of apps but upon closer inspection they all seem to be skins rather than the update.

and if Rooting is the only option, could someone point me in the direction of a good resource where i can get biff level instructions

I think it would have to be rooting and romming.
