How can I get my Calendar notifications working?

Calendar notifications not working

When I hit calendar event notification it does not work. Its shows it is set up but the phone does not notify me. Is there a setting I am missing? LG Escape2

Welcome to Android Central! Is this the stock Calendar app, or the Google Calendar app? Open it, tap Menu>Settings, and look for the notification options. Are notifications turned on?

The way you've said this I'm assuming that you get nothing no sound and no message, correct? Aside from checking that notifications are actually on also check the your calendar is set to sync in your device settings. How long has this event been setup? There may have been an update that is messing with events that were created prior to the update. Try creating a new event and see if you have the same issue. If a new event works recreate the event.
