How can I get my HTC One A9 to connect to a tv using HDMI connector?

My HTC One A9 has broken screen and I want to use a tv instead. Is it possible?

It would be possible to connect it to a laptop or PC if;

You have USB debugging enabled.

And

You can unlock the device.

When you say the screen is broken, since you want to view it on another source, I assume you mean that there are no images displayed. Is this correct?

Do you know if the digitizer still works? Even cracked the digitizer, the glass covering the LCD display, often continues to function.
