how can I get my Motorola Xoom tablets messenger camrea to work?

When I go to the messenger app the camera on it. It just kicks out.

Welcome to Android Central! Which messenger app -- Facebook Messenger? (Someone moved this thread to the Facebook forum, but I just want to confirm with you.) What do you mean that it just kicks out?

That tablet is quite old, so I wouldn't be surprised if there are glitches like this -- it may not be able to handle more current updates to apps as well as a newer device.
