how can i get my note 4 to stop asking for a sign-in request

the sign-in request also has on it, my g-mail account. why? it is connected somehow to an app called Gallery

"Gallery" wants access to your Google Photos (formerly known as Picasa) account so any photos that have been automatically backed up to Google can be seen along with the stuff that is just on the phone in a single unified view.
