How can I get my S6 Edge home button working?

s6 edge home button not working

Hi I recently upgraded from an S4 to S6 edge.
all is going well except for in the last hour my home button isn't working properly.
the only thing it does it wake the screen up from sleep, double tapping to open camera does nothing, pressing it when in an app to go back to home screen also does nothing

Welcome to Android Central.

You could register here and try posting in the S6 Edge forum about that, but I'm not sure that there's anything you could do to fix it yourself. Be prepared to return it.

Restarting my s6 edge fixed it for me...try that maybe?

my galaxy s6 edge is doing the same thing. it started doing this in the last few days. ive had it over a year and never had a problem with it. ive reset, rebooted, u name it. wtf!

Did you figure out a fix yet? Mine just **** out, I've tried numerous restarts, it won't go into safe mode, and I'm sure not doing a factory data reset. Too much stuff to lose.

Well if it wont go to safe mode, maybe the home button is dead already. Make a backup with samsung smart switch on PC. It will backup all your pictures, notes, music, etc. then factory reset it. If it doenst fix the home button, send your phone to repair.
