How can I get my Samsung S5 to mirror to my TV (keep dropping connection, (error mirroring is turned off))?

My Samsung S5 won't mirrior to my TV, keep dropping connection, (error" mirroring is turned off"

I am trying to mirror my Samsung S5 to my Toshiba TV but the connection keeps dropping, never really connects, it turns mirroring off. Tried it on multiple TVs and the same thing happens.

Samsung screen mirroring is to a Samsung Smart TV. If you have any other TV you'll need an Allcast dongle or a Chromecast dongle. (I prefer Chromecast - it's cheap, it's available and it works. Chromecast makes the phone mirror to the TV, Chromecast mirroring is a full description of how to use it [press the menu bars, press cast, select the TV, but you have the link to the long version if that's not enough].)
