How can I get my Visual Voicemail working on my HTC One M8?

Visual Voicemail not working for HTC One m8

Every time I try to open Visual Voicemail on my HTC One m8, it opens for a split moment and then immediately closes. I can't get it to stay open long enough to even see who my voicemails are from. Also cannot get the icon to go away. Why is it doing this and how can I fix it??

Depending on your carrier, there are additional carrier side settings that have to be changed especially if you have switched or upgraded devices recently. My wife went from an GS3 to an M8 (AT&T) and the carrier had to change something on her VM setup to allow it to work.

This may not be your related directly to your issue, but something to check.

So do you think that if I went to a Sprint service store, they'd be able to possibly fix this?

That's happening to me when I try to open my voicemail on my HTC, it's really frustrating

I think it might have something to do with the android 5.0 multi-window stuff.

I've ha no problems with my Sprint Visual Voice Mail, other than it's poor voice recognition resulting in some pretty wacky messages...
