How can I get my Xperia answering machine working?

My XPeria Answering Machine Not Working

So I'm using KitKat before on my XPeria Z3, and then I upgraded my device to Lollipop and suddenly my XPeria Answering Machine isn't working well. Everytime I try to record a greeting a message will pop out saying "Unfortunately, the phone has stopped".

Have you experienced this problem? If not, is there any way I can fix this? Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! Did the Answering Machine app come preinstalled on the phone, or did you install it from Google Play or somewhere else? If you installed it, make sure it's up to date.

Try going to Settings>Apps>All​, select Answering Machine, and Clear Cache/Clear Data. Do the same for the Phone or Dialer app. Now try again.
