How can I get rid of the red vertical line on right side of my screen?

red vertical line on right side of screen.

Samsung galaxy tab s10.5.
yesterday a thin red line has appeared on my screen. How do I get rid of it.

A replacement screen may be necessary. It doesn't sound to me like a software fault.
