How can I get stuff to download on my 32gb sd card in my new Alcatel Onetouch Pop Icon phone?

nothing will download to my 32gb sd card in new Alcatel Onetouch Pop Icon phone

used most of internal storage- put in SanDisk 32gb Ultra card- can't even download Angry Birdfrom Google store. SD card shows in phone as having 29.7 gb avail. space/ I indicated I wanted to download to sd card- but no luck- tried cell manf. / point of purchase tech center/ and Tracfone( carrier ) Any Help? Did switch out card with one I know is good , so bad card not the reason

Nope - Android downloads to internal storage. Even if you use an app that installs apps to the card, they download to internal storage, then get the "chunked move" to the card. (Parts are moved, parts aren't - assuming the particular app can be moved to the card, not all can.) If you don't have enough internal space to download the file, it won't download. (Unless you have a ROM that mounts the card as internal storage but, since Tracfone uses a non-standard ROM [to keep track of how many minutes and days you have left], you can't flash a custom ROM.)

BTW, Tracfone is your network provider, your carrier is probably AT&T. (Tracfone is a virtual network operator, not a carrier.)
