Did Sony release an update for the device? If not, you'll need to search out the process of installing a ROM and see if anyone has actually developed one for the device. A quick Google search says Sony did NOT release KitKat for that phone and there appear to be a few different ROMs out there.

TREAD CAREFULLY. Doing something wrong during the ROM flash could render the phone useless.
