how can I keep a zoom level across website pages within android Oreo?

I'm currently using an Android based handheld scanner that reaches out to a website using the chromium browser. I'm able zoom into an acceptable level using the 2 finger pinch method, but as soon as I am redirected within that site my zoom defaults back to the default level which it near impossible for the naked eye to read. I need a permanent zoom solution for this mobile device to retain the chosen zoom level. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think that's possible - the display size is determined by the site.

This zoom lock would be a feature (or not) of the web browser you are using. If your current browser does not have such a feature to lock the zoom level, you will need to try different web browsers to find one with that feature. Unfortunately, none come to mind, but I have never searched for that feature.
