How to lookup existing unlock code on the phone

I have an at&t LG G3 set that has been unlocked as I have moved back to Malaysia.
I would like to flash the phone to remove network bloatware and some other bugs.
However am concerned that during the process the phone might revert back to the previous settings (for at&t). I do not have the unlock code (I didn't make note of it after using it previously). Thanks

Once the phone is SIM-unlocked it stays that way. Flashing another ROM (assuming you flash one that works) won't relock the phone. (If you flash one that doesn't work, the phone is still unlocked, it's just not working.)
