How can i lower the noise gate/ noise reduction on new nokia 5

[Android Central Question]

I am a musician and I like to use my phone to record musical ideas that i get. I have a new nokia 5 phone with anroid 8 OS and i find that the noise gate/noise reduction on the phone really interferes with my recordings. Is tgere a way to adjust the noise reduction so that this doesn't happen? Thanks for any help.
