How can I make space on my built-in storage?

How can i make space on my build-in storage?

I am an owner of an HTC One M8 16GB. Even though i have transferred all my photos, videos, music and some of the apps to my external SD card, my build-in storage is almost full. The ''System'' is taking 7.69GB of the storage itself, and the ''Apps'' is taking 6GB.(most apps are pre-installed)
Is there anything i can do?
