How can I reactivate a group text?

I cut and paste this as I have the exact issue. It was unanswered :

"Recently none of my messages were going through in a group (turns orange) I can receive everyone's texts but can not respond. After a few days of this I saw an option to leave group (now the chat is marked "inactive" on my end) yet I can still see their new messages. I am not able to respond and when I try to create a new thread it tells me I need to be re added. I've checked my blocked messages. The group has made several attempts to re add me with no success.

How do I rejoin the group?"

Welcome to Android Central! In your previous post, you mentioned using an S7 -- you're still using that phone, correct? Is it Samsung Messaging, or a different messaging app?
