Welcome to Android Central! You got into Download Mode somehow--usually you have to power on by pressing Power, Home, and Vol Down at the same time to get there. As long as you're not connected to a computer, you can force a shutdown. Press and hold Power and Vol Down until it shuts down. Then power on normally. Does it boot to the homescreen?
