how can I remove down arrow in notification bar

After you update an app a down arrow showed up in the notification bar. How do I get rid of this arrow? Particular if I do multiple updates!

Or...... pull down the notification bar and select the downloaded app.

i have same problem with my phone, and i have tried both the options by clicking the clear button and by clicking on the downloaded app but it doesnt work. please help!!!

Hmmm...I'm new to droids but have had these sorts of snags. Can you find out which version is on your device.? That way you can get closer to people who are doing similar things in similar ways.

For example, the advice here worked perfectly for me. But I have a I have a galaxy Tab 2 7.0-- and it's not even a phone.
Samsung customer support is excellent by the way. Hope this help. Cheers!

If you tap on the icon then drag the screen down from the top you can access the app. For me it is the Samsung Apps app. Hitting the "Clear Data" button stopped the download(?). 'Not sure if this will work for you. Also, mine is a new device ... you may lose data if you do this. Good luck.
