How can I restore the apps icon from the main tray on the home screen?

I have a mini s4 and accidently deleted the “apps” icon on the main tray on my home screen (it's the one the looks like a circle with a few little cubes inside). How do I restore it? I don't know how else I can get to all my apps..

Welcome to Android Central! You shouldn't be able to do that if you have the stock TouchWiz launcher. Are you using a 3rd party launcher like Nova?
