How can I retain my all my old monthly calendars on my S7?

On my old S4 I could retain multiple years of my calendars that were available for access.

Welcome to Android Central! Which calendar app are you using--the stock Samsung calendar app, or Google Calendar? On my Nexus 6P, the Google Calendar app only goes back for a little over a year, even though there are many more past events on the main calendar in my Google Calendar cloud. I believe that's a limitation of the app that you can't modify. You could try other 3rd party calendar apps.

We started our on-line Google calendar in Nov 2014. Online, the calendar goes all the way back to that month. On my S7 it only goes back as far as the END of March 2015. At least I know if I need to pull up a date before march 2015, I can see it online.

I'm not sure if the app goes back for a certain amount of days, or for a certain amount of events (i.e, if the calendar was densely populated, it wouldn't go back as far as one that has far fewer events).
