How can I rid my S5 of bugs in the software?

I have had my galaxy s5 now for about 4 months and I'm getting ready to throw it out the window. I have never experienced so many bugs in software as I have with this phone! It started out with just speech to text issues and essentially doubling my text I had to reset it to factory default. Now everything seems to go wrong. Every time I get an update I find another problem. Now for some reason I'm trying to text my girlfriend and the phone keeps adding an extra 1-2 her number. I've had it up to my eyeballs with this phone! Take your guys at Google do anything right and get the software without bugs in it?

Welcome to Android Central! It's not Google itself--it has more to do with Samsung's (and probably your carrier's) modifications to the base code. Try wiping the cache partition, which can help with various issues after an update: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-10404
