How can I root my tablet?

I would like to root my tablet

I have an nextbook ares 8 running lollipop 5.1 so this is not the Walmart 78$ item it's 144$ which is still cheap. But if like to root the tablet just to get rid of so much bloatware. If anyone can please help it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Try searching the rooting methods on XDA forums. Or just try some one tap root apps like king root, etc. But they might not work on your device as it only supports some popular brand devices.

Where did you get this tablet as I've never heard of anyone selling the Nextbook Ares 8 other than Walmart? There are a LOT of folks who would like Android 5.1 on that tablet, as the Walmart version only runs 5.0.
