how can I set up my cc-motog-ext to answer texts I am now recieving

Have a Motorola 20005001 phone through AAA ( with service through Consumer Cellular. Was told I would have to use another phone to set up??

Welcome to Android Central! Does your plan include text messaging? If it does, you should be able to respond by simply typing your response in the Messaging app.
