How can I stop a beeping on my Samsung S6?

Samsung S6 issue

Sunday morning around 1 in the morning my S6 started beeping very 1 to 11/2 minutes and will not stop, battery is fully charged. What do I do to true it off?

Welcome to Android Central! Is it a recognizable notification tone or alarm tone, or something different? Make sure you don't have anything with an NFC chip nearby, like a credit card.
