How can I stop a strange message appearing repeatedly.

The following message appears on a black background quite often even when I am not sending any messages, etc.
Sorry. The attachment is too big to send; please make sure it less than xxx MB.

How can Stop this message from appearing?

Welcome to Android Central! Try going to the App Manager, select Email, and Clear Cache. Do the same with Messaging.
