Android Central Question

So I have an S9 with the latest software updates and whenever im on the MSN homepage in chrome, no matter what story I click, the install MSN News popup appears at the bottom of the screen. I have popup blocker enabled and ads are blocked. I've also cleared all caches. I eventually caved in and installed the app, when I opened a news story I was asked whether to use Chrome or the MSN news app to open, I clicked always and chrome. I thought I'd beaten the popup....but no.
The next story I clicked and the install popup appeared again. I have subsequently uninstalled the app as the system can't even recognise that I had already installed it!! Can anyone please help to stop this from happening?

No, that's the way the site is written - something coming up on the bottom of the screen that's not a popup. The popup blocker doesn't see it as a popup, just as part of the page, so it won't block it. (The more we figure out how to not see ads, the more some people figure out ways to defeat what we figure out.)

Just use Samsung internet. It's 100x better than chrome. Ad blocking at it's finest!

Thanks guys, it's at least helped me feel like I wasn't going insane!! I'll give Samsung internet a whirl as well and see if that is any different, if so, bye bye chrome!!
