How can I stop my LG G4 from rebooting over and over?

my lgg4 keeps rebooting over and over non-stop i can't do anything

I was using my phone just fine this morning. Then all of a sudden I went to use it and it went black and then starting rebooting over and over. It has turned on fully 3 times now but once everything is loaded on my screen it shuts back down and starts over. It has been doing this for over an hour. I have taken the battery out and left it out for a little bit and it still isn't helping. What can I do??

Welcome to Android Central! Can you leave it powered off and let it charge on a wall outlet overnight, in case this bootloop is due to a low battery? Or try a new or different battery.

Same thing happened to me (and many others - the threads are all over the place). Ultimately, I needed a warranty replacement as the motherboard from my early release device crapped out. Seems that is the same story everywhere. Sorry for the bad news. The replacement device seems ok but still has me worried...

Does it happen if you boot into safe mode? Hold volume down and power at the same time and you will get a menu.

Are you rooted? If you are, then you need to uninstall Titanium Backup, reboot, install Titanium Backup as it can get corrupted, do the uninstall in safe mode if possible.

Try to reload os it looks corrupted

This happened to me as well and I got a warranty replacement in October. Last night, the one I got from warranty started doing the same thing. Next time I have an upgrade I'm just going to get a new phone, this is too frustrating

There has been lot of discussions in xda that all g4 with serial numbers starts from 505 to 509 having faulty motherboard causing an infinite bootloop. It's fixed with serial numbers above 600. So, if you have a warranty and get a replacement, ask for serial numbers above 600
