Lollipop priority mode problem with Gmail
If I set my Galaxy S5 to Sound at night, and turn on priority mode, and tell it to allow phone calls from my family only, the following happens. The alarm works, I can get family calls, but if I get a Gmail, it rings when it arrives, and turns OFF priority mode. So I can't use my alarm because I must keep the phone on silent to avoid getting woken up by Gmails. I could set Gmail to never interrupt me, but then during the day it wouldn't either. I've seen posts on the opposite, priority mode getting turned ON randomly. And maybe some apps could do this. But Gmail, causing a problem, for an Android upgrade? That seems really odd to me. Has anyone figured this mess out?
