How can I stop the Verizon set-up program from running on my Note 2?

I am changing providers and want to get rid of the Verizon programs on my Galaxy Note 2. Can that be done without rooting the phone?

Welcome to Android Central! Those preinstalled apps can't be uninstalled unless you're rooted. Some of them can't even be Disabled, which is a pain.
