How Can I Transfer Apps & Saved Data To Galaxy Note 10.1?

I have a Nexus 10 and my wife has a Galaxy Note 10.1 (GT-N8013, Android 4.1.2). We have separate Google accounts. Over the past year, we have been primarily using the Galaxy tablet, so I am trying to transfer my Nexus apps to the Galaxy with my saved data intact (such as advanced levels that I have accomplished in games, etc.) I added my Google account to the Galaxy with no problem. When I go into Google Play from the Galaxy and logged into my account, I am able to see the apps on my Nexus that I want to install onto the Galaxy. I assumed that when the Nexus automatically backs up, that it also saves the data associated with any app. However, when I install an app onto the Galaxy, it installs it as if it was brand new without any of the saved data from my Nexus.

Is there a way to also retrieve the saved data, that I have from using the Nexus?

Thanks in advance

If the app actually saves your progress in its own server (like, for example, Family Guy: Quest for Stuff), then you can continue where you left off on any device, as long as you're logged in with your account. But most games still save data locally. I suppose you could use a file manager and search the Nexus 10's data directories for folders that belong to that game, and see what happens if you copy those files over to the Note. But it might also cause the game to crash, if it's encountering data that conflicts with what it may have already set up.

One thing to try may be Helium--it might be able to restore backed up data to the new device. But I've never used it myself.

Thanks for your response, Diddy. As you recommended, I looked into my tree with Xplore file manager and could not find any folder with either the actual game name or the company (EA Games). I will try to contact their support to see if they can help me resolve it.

SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!

For anyone who also wants to transfer an app with data to another device:
1. Go into and open the app on your original device (in my case my Nexus 10)
2. Login for your Facebook account fror the app. Now all of your data and completed levels will be stored in your Facebbok account.
3. Goto your new device (in my case the Galaxy Note) and install the app.
4. Open the newly installed app and login through Facebook and all of your data will be intact!

Hope everyone can benefit from this solution:D
