How can I turn my speakerphone off?

Speakerphone stuck ON

In FB messenger my speakerphone is stuck ON and I am unable to turn it off by touching the "speakerphone" icon. Every outgoing or incoming call from FBM is automatically on speakerphone... very frustrating!!

Using Samsung Galaxy S4mini, KitKat 4.4.2. Any fixes out there??

I have tried every setting on my phone, went through every app to see if auto-speaker is on everywhere but it's not. I'm not using hands-free mode either...

Uninstall FBM. Restart the phone. Go to the Play Store and install it again. If that doesn't do it, there may be some basic incompatibility between FBM and your model phone.
