How can I turn off the "high volume" warning on the S8?

Tell me there is a way to tell the cokume to stop warning me about high volume !?!?!?!?!

Every device I sync to and up the volume , I raise the volume then have to stop hit ok on the screen then raise again. I have to do it over and over again on every device or if I disconnected and reconnect. Wtf

I use tasker and set volume to maximum when connecting to Bluetooth and that works. Manually I'm guessing there's no override as it's just a safety thing.

The Bluetooth popup when turning on is equally annoying

I've read that the only way to get rid of it is to root the phone. I don't know how how true that is or whether rooting will actually work. Never had a cause to try it because it doesn't bother me. I've grown used to it I guess.

Rooting itself won't. All that does is add 1 file to the phone (what SuperSU calls the "binary file"). But if you poke around enough in a rooted phone you might be able to kill that message, depending on the phone.

But the warning is correct - run an earphone at full volume at your own peril. A set of hearing aids runs (if you need one, you need two) around $6,000 - and it's still not as good as not damaging your inner ear. (And the ringing in your ears gets very annoying.)

I get your point, I'm always telling the kids this, but i use Bluetooth speakers and I want to control the volume thru the phone. Samsung does this for legal reasons, they don't want a McDonald's coffee was hot type of lawsuit, IMO.

Getting the message once Everytime you power the phone on is annoying. Once after each FDR would be sufficient. Most know loud noises can damage hearing, and most ignore that fact.

I can understand the warning, but the problem is that it depends on what you're plugging in. I only use over-the-ear headphones that need a bit more power than the S8 can muster to be somewhat loud. In fact, I need to set the volume all the way just to make it normal.

With ear buds, it would definitely be too loud. But, I've never heard a set of ear buds that actually sound good (or that don't physically hurt my ears), so I don't use them.

The warning isn't needed at all. It's never been needed on any device. It's never been a liability issue. No judge would ever grant someone a win for playing music too loud and then blaming the player manufacturer for not warning them. It would be like putting a warning label on every single pot and pan that read, "may cause burns if you touch it during cooking"
