How can I type a letter into my pin number but will only let me type numbers?

need to type a letter into my pin number but will only let me type numbers

was asked to do a pin number but had to include one letter on samsung s5,when tryin to unlock using the pin number,will only let me type numbers,not the letter,how do i type the letter in?

You shouldn't have to.. a PIN is consisted only of numbers......
