How can I unlock things from my clipboard?

Hello! I believe I have a galaxy S7. The phone came with a clipboard at the top of the keyboard, and when you long press it you can lock things to the keyboard and unlock them. However, I have some locked things that I want to delete, but whenever I press and hold to unlock it so I can delete it, the unlock function appears in grey and pressing it doesn't work. I want to be able to clear this old stuff from my keyboard but nothing I've found so far has been helpful. Does anyone know a solution to this?

You can reset the keyboard by clearing data,cache and force stop and see if it helps
