Android Central Question

I have a Razer Phone and due to some problems i had to factory reset it.

Now after i turned it on, it says this MicroSD card is not supported, and it asks me again if i want to use it "For this phone only" or to use to transfer files between devices, and to format it.
I am pretty sure the first time i inserted it i chose the first option thinking i wouldn't have problems unless i wanted to use it somewhere else... But now this happened and i'm not sure what to do.

I am also sure i haven't got the past month worth of files backed up so i was wondering if there is any way to make the phone accept the card again or to read the MicroSD and back up all the files? (Both my laptop and another smartphone won't read this card since it was formatted for the Razer Phone and i didn't know factory reset would also reset this.... :( )

It sounds like you formatted the card as adoptable storage, which locks the card to that specific device. When you reset the phone, it deleted the encryption keys to communicate with the card, if not format the card itself. Sorry, but I don't think there is a way to recover that data from card. This is one of the main reasons we don't recommend formatting cards as adopted storage. For future reference, it's best to leave it as removable storage.
