using a tablet as my phone.
I have been on a Sprint unlimited data plan for around 2 years now and I have been burning through the GBs on my Note 2. I use it for everything...texting, emails, entertainment, internet, and good old fashioned phone calls. I abide by Sprint's rules and do not tether to other devices. Yet, I've used over 100GB in a month a few times and average over 80GB each month.
The biggest downfall of smartphones is the small screen size, even on the larger phones. This makes me wonder if I could use a tablet as my phone, which would allow me to enjoy a larger screen size with the unlimited data.
I am sure there are plenty of apps which allow a phone like experience but, I would rather be able to keep my current phone number and receive normal phone calls from any other phone. Is this possible with a tablet? If so, which tablet/s would allow this?
