Welcome to Android Central! Not all phones support this function, and for those that do, not all apps can be moved, since it depends on the app. For those that can be moved, you can typically only more a relatively small portion of the app, so you might not end up saving that much space in the first place.

If your phone supports the function, go to Settings>Apps, select an app, and look for a Move to SD button.

Google has disabled that function on Android Kitkat. Your Xperia will get an Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update soon and you will be able to move any app on the sd card.
