Whenever you read a review or user opinion about Moto devices we always seem to hear about the pentile screen and its "horrible" ghosting affect.

Well I have it just as bad on my Nexus and yet I haven't seen one review/blog/user complain about it.

I notice it the most if i go into the Facebook app and go to my friends list, I scroll up and down and it is very noticeable.

So does Moto just get a bum wrap or is everyone really so obsessed with this phone because it has the word "Nexus" in the name that they are willing to turn a blind eye to it?

Yeah I haven't noticed any ghosting effects. In fact my display seems to be superb.

I guess I kind of see it, but its something that I wouldnt have noticed at all if you hadn't said anything.

I have a 24 inch monitor on my home computer, and If you wanna see terrible Ghosting I'll post a video of that bad boy in action. What I just saw on the nexus is nothing compared to that, So I wouldn't say its terrible, but I suppose it is there.

Oh i dont personaliy think its terrible, heck i didnt even care about it on my droid x2..... i just found it humorous that there was all kinds of people complaining about it on the motos and ive seen minimal feedback about it for the GN

Or you're sensible and don't crank up the screen 100% all the time... maybe that might be it, too.

Just for grins, I did turn it up to 100% and tried to get the ghosting to show but I had no luck. I may not know what I'm looking for....

I have not had this issue. And glad I don't. I think some people just look for problems tho.

I know this is not within the OP's control, but it greatly amused me. (see attachment)

lol I don't think i've ever actually used the GN at 100% brightness. 45% is just fine for me :P.

Gnex has over 300ppi so pentile/RGB matrix doesnt matter since its not noticable on naked eye.
and ghost affect, i dont think all device has it.
