How did I loose root and will you help me get it back?

I didn't do any updates. I was using SD booster, Set CPU, Wifi Tether, etc two days ago and yesterday I started getting the error that my phone wasn't able to obtain root access. I have checked recovery and Revolution S-off is still there. My superuser seems to be not working, but I can't find any direction online. My stress level is still at 0 though, because I know someone here is definitely not forgetting to be awesome. Thanks in advance

Hi! Have you tried reinstalling Superuser? That's the only thing I can think of at the top of my head. I know there was an update to it not long ago.

Just a thought, have you tried powering down, pulling the battery and then restarting? Most times this fixes the issue. Might not work, but worth a try.

Lol, isn't it amazing what powering down and a battery pull will fix?! The first thing we ask users at work is, "Did you shut down your PC? "

yes, it is true. a power down/restart seems to fix most issues.

I applaud you for keeping your stress level down.

Oh, since you can get to recovery have you tried (after trying a a battery pull and shutdown ) restoring your latest Nandroid (if you have one of your phone in a rooted state)?

Im grateful you're commenting and thinking like me...tried all these except I just don't have root anymore. I read the problems peeeps were leaving in the comments in the market for the superuser app. I can't uninstall it to reinstall tho.

One more thought, are you able flash the super user over the one you have? Sometimes when I have small issues when flashing a rom I just flash over it with just wiping cache and dalvik. Let us know.
