Well, I got the update installed and I'm wondering if there's a way to see if my Wireless N is enabled.

Thanks!

it works
set up your router to only broadcast on n and connect your evo and then you know you are on N

its not. only available through root.

No really, wireless N is enabled now. Set my router on "N-Only" and EVO connected.

The only way to know if you are connecting is go into your router's settings and look. Either set it at "N-Only" and try to connect or some routers will tell you which IPs are connecting at what speed (B, G, N).

If you are connected to Wi-Fi go to Settings>Wireless and Networks>Wi-Fi Settings then select the network that is connected. A status screen will pop up, which includes the connection speed. I assume anything over 54 Mbps would indicate N-level connection. Mine reports 72 Mbps through my N access point.

Ooohhh...I'll try that at home where I have an N Network. My work is still using G. :)

Thanks again!
