I just bought a song using the Google Play App on my GS4. How in the world do I use my GS4 to download the song to my phone? It is not showing up in my music.

Ok, I have that, and I see my song. I guess that means it has downloaded, but where? I don't see it when I look in "My Files" and the pre-installed Samsung Music App not seeing it? So maybe I haven't downloaded it. Confused.

Thanks for the help.

Ok, so I see now an option to "Keep on device" with a thumbtack icon. It appears this keeps it locally on the device but can essentially only be played through the Google Music app and is buried somewhere in the phone. What a complicated mess. It will be the last song I buy through Google Play.

This seems to confuse a lot of people as there are multiple choices. I solely use the google play music app for my music. It marrys well with iTunes also.

I've done some more research and it appears to be by design. The music "pinned" is buried and the name of the song not even kept. I guess you can then go through a web browser, download the song to your computer from Google (looks like a limit of twice) and then move it over, but good lord, how cumbersome.

Strikes me as extremely stupid that the default music app with one of the best selling Android devices cannot even access music purchased through google's music store. Very, very strange.

It's too long winded for me as I like to use player pro for my music. I don't want to keep connecting to the computer to get my songs. I buy my music from amazon and I can use it with any player I want.
