How do hard reset my lgl34c?

My little niece changed my lock pattern and i need to put minutes on it for her I can't get into it to do that and I'm getting really frustrated please help me out.

Welcome to Android Central! In order to change the lock pattern, you have to enter the new pattern, then enter it again to confirm it. Your little niece was actually able to do that?

If you fail the unlock enough times, does it ask for your Google credentials?
