AC Question
How do I access the internal memory if my phone won't stay on.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S (GT I9000) which has suddenly stopped working - keeps turning on and off by itself. I have tried a brand new battery but that hasn't helped - seems to be an internal/software issue.
I can't connect it to Kies etc. long enough to try and access the data on the phone, as the phone turns itself off whilst it's connecting.
For some reason the micro sd card that was inserted in the phone is wiped of all data now as well! My sim also has no contacts on it. I am assuming therefore that all my data (contacts, photos etc.) are stored internally.
I have no back up because they were all on my laptop which was stolen just before my phone decided to break (it's not been the best of weeks!).
Is there anyway to access the internal memory without the phone staying on? Or some way to reset the phone without losing all data?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as years' worth of contacts etc. is on the phone!
