Welcome to Android Central. That would depend greatly on the capabilities of your tablet as well as the printer. If you have a USB port and the printer is USB aware then you could connect them physically. You would need drivers on the tablet for the printer. If your tablet has wifi and the printer has wifi, then go that route. You would still need drivers on the tablet. As serial and parallel ports are pretty much a thing of the past, USB and wifi are pretty much it today.
