How do I change default camera settings HTC EVO 4G LTE?

On the HTC EVO 4G LTE, I'd like to change settings so that I don't have to go in and change them each time I turn on the camera.

Specifically, I'd like to change the "Camera scene" to "Macro". The way to set that each time is Camera, then click the Camera Icon in corner of screen, Scene Selection pulldown, scroll down, select Macro. Too many steps to do almost every time I turn on the camera.

Alternatively, I could use a desktop icon that turned on the camera into that mode for me.

i am having same problem, i like to change mode to HDR, but every time relaunching the camera go back to normal default.

i am not expert but i believe we can not do it because the mode camera software on htc one set to default which is normal, that is why once we close the camera it goes back to normal.
i tried to edit the app using apkyool, but when i built the app again it fail to launch even i resigned anfer recompiled again, so i think there are 2 options:
1. htc one release a software updates ro leave default to non so we could pick what we like. or
2. a programmer that be able to modify cam application and recompile it to be ready to install.

hope we see one of them
